Exercising can be difficult, but wearable technology is enticing people to start exercising more than before. Whether or not this is just a fad or a long-term trend is yet to be determined. This can be compared to things in the past such as various protein supplements including keto inspired diets. Every year, new trends emerge and it entice people to switch gears. However, unlike tech, these diets aren’t customized for each individual. Each person has their own optimal way to exercise and to eat. Personal trainers and customized diets and exercise routines were highly effective in the past and still continue to work. Hopefully, exercise tech such as heartbeat monitors and pedometers will move on this path and get people off their couches.
