In this article, the author explains how he researched numerous companies to see if employee engagement is really as beneficial as many companies believe. He goes deep into detail to show that those numbers fluctuate and that it is not a long-term solution to help improve business moral. He also researched companies that look into long term satisfaction for their employees and found that to be more beneficial to producing a continuously positive work environment and in return becoming more profitable. The author then suggests that more companies switch their way of thinking, to see if the outcome is as successful as his research has shown.
