As I reflect on my time podcasting, I love the ability it gives me to teach, connect with other like minded entrepreneurs, and network with other people. It has been one of the biggest blessings in my life and business.

Now let’s dive into the 9 business lessons I learned this year that made a major impact.

9 Most Important Business Lessons I Learned In 2021

Lesson 1

Your trajectory in your business is determined by who you spend time with.

Make sure the people in your social circle are bringing up your average and lighting you up.

Lesson 2

To be a pro, you have to set up like a pro.

To be an entrepreneur, work from home, and be a mom, I have to set my schedule up for success in order to thrive.

Lesson 3

Social media will continue changing, but what does not change is how you add value.

It’s easy to get caught up on new trends, but the most important thing you need is a process for creating valuable content.

Lesson 4

Facebook Ads tanked this year and what we did about it.

Ad prices soared, iOS changes happened, and Facebook ads changed, causing a big shift in how ads work. Bottom line: ads will always be changing. We had to go back to the drawing board, look at our funnel and customer value journey, and make a plan to improve it.

Lesson 5

You need to keep adding to your funnel.

You have to have engaging, valuable content that is moving people through the customer value journey. You want to be constantly adding to your funnel and testing new offers.

Lesson 6

The same offer will not work over and over again.

When you are crafting offers in your business, some things may not work and that’s not a reflection on you and doesn’t make you a failure. Just keep learning about your audience and their needs and trying new offers.

Lesson 7

Check your market.

Ask yourself these questions. Are they in pain? Who has the purchasing power? Is that market actually growing? Are they easy to target? Stay in tune with your market and how to target them.

Lesson 8

The riches are in the niches.

When you can get specific on the people you help, life becomes a lot easier.

Lesson 9

Always be inspired.

Take the time to listen to or read personal development each day so that you can be your best and provide the best inspiration and value to others.
