Workplace Creativity“Gmail” came out of experimental time that Google sets aside for their employees. This “20%” time allows for their people to focus on any projects that interest them and experiment with new ideas.

It begs the question if you let your people focus on what they want, will it help your business?  Sometimes it’s a bit scary to do this because you are taking risks but some really helpful innovations have come this way. Other companies are always looking for new ideas so you can’t stagnate. This gives good advice on how you can get your workplace to the place where you and other employees feel good trying new things.

This can be an intimidating thought.  But will it pay off?
